Permanent HP through gameplay

Type @hpquest in All chat to open the HP quest NPC. Claim milestones and complete hunting rounds to permanently increase your base MaxHP. Hunting rounds have no minimum level once you have a supported class.

How to earn HP

Each milestone is claimable once per character. Existing characters can claim milestones for their current level and job. Boss milestones require quest kill credit for the final boss form after this feature is enabled; earlier kills are not recorded. In the @hpquest menu, ready means you can collect the reward, while claimed means you already collected it.

Repeatable hunting rounds

No level-120 requirement. Any supported class can start a round, as long as there is room below its HP caps.

  1. 1. StartType @hpquest in All chat and choose Start a hunting round. Each party member must start their own round.
  2. 2. HuntGet credit for 100 Skelegons and 100 Skelosauruses. Only kills credited after starting count. Reopen @hpquest anytime to check both counters.
  3. 3. ClaimWhen both counters reach 100/100, a yellow chat alert tells you to return. Open @hpquest, look for Ready to claim!, and select Claim this hunting round.
  4. 4. RepeatThe confirmation says Permanently gained X MaxHP. A round grants 35 base HP, scaled to your class as shown below. Start another round after claiming.

Hunting with a party

Party kills count while you are alive, on the same map and channel, and eligible for party EXP sharing. You do not need to hit every monster. Removing the quest's minimum level does not remove the normal level rules for party EXP credit; a character too low to qualify will not receive those party kills.

Completion alerts and progress

The alert appears once when your final objective is credited. Extra kills do not repeat it, and the reward is not collected automatically. These custom rounds do not appear in the quest log: use @hpquest for progress and claims.

Caps and notes

Milestones and repeatable rewards share the same quest HP cap. Rewards use your class when claimed and round down to whole HP. A reward near either cap gives only the remaining amount, and that claim is consumed. At your cap, the NPC explains that no further HP can be gained.

Explorers, Cygnus Knights and Aran are supported. Beginners and unsupported jobs must advance into a supported class first. A fourth-job milestone requires the actual fourth-job ID, not just reaching level 120.

Your quest HP is saved separately from washing, equipment and buffs. Your base MaxHP cannot exceed 30,000 through this system. Washed HP only reduces your available rewards when approaching that overall cap; there is no boss-specific HP target calculation. These starting rewards are not a guarantee of surviving every boss attack.

Started rounds survive normal logout. If a save cannot be confirmed, reconnect to reload the saved result before trying again. A server crash can lose kills since the last character save, but a confirmed HP claim and its completion record are saved together.

The NPC shows the active server settings; this guide lists the initial defaults. HP washing and AP Resets still work as usual.
