Boss challenge · Level 25+

Mu Lung Dojo belts

Take on a ladder of bosses, collect training points, and trade up from the White Belt to the Black Belt.

So Gong, the Mu Lung Dojo attendant

Getting in

  1. 1. Level 25+Use a Dimensional Mirror and select Mu Lung Dojo, or use a Mu Lung Dojo notice board to travel to the entrance. Head inside to the hall.
  2. 2. Meet So GongTalk to So Gong in the hall and choose to challenge alone or with a party. On your first solo visit, accept his test, defeat him, and use the exit to return to the hall.
  3. 3. Start a runSpeak to So Gong again to begin. For a party run, have the leader speak to him and keep the party’s level spread within 30 levels when entering.

Clear a boss, then use both exits

Fight

Defeat the floor’s boss

Watch the countdown while fighting. The Dojo has 32 boss fights across 38 floors, with six rest floors between groups of fights.

Go up

Use the lower-right portal

After the boss is defeated, stand at the portal on the lower right and press Up. This moves you to the upper platform.

Advance

Press Up at the upper exit

At the exit in the middle of the upper platform, press Up again to reach the next floor. Simply standing there will not advance the run.

Finish the exit step: training points are awarded when you advance from a cleared floor. Defeating a boss and leaving the run immediately does not award that floor’s points.

Training points and saved progress

Cleared combat floors award training points as you advance. Later groups of bosses are worth more points, and solo floors award one more point than their party equivalents. Watch chat for each award and your updated balance. You can build up points over multiple runs; you do not need to defeat the final boss to earn a belt.

At a rest floor, speak to So Gong to continue or leave. On a solo run, choose “I want to record my score up to this point” to save a checkpoint. When you next challenge alone, accept his offer to resume. Continuing past the rest floor clears that saved checkpoint; declining the resume offer also erases it.

A saved checkpoint records where to resume. Your training-point balance is separate. Avoid “reset my training points” unless you intend to clear that balance.

White Belt to Black Belt

Return to So Gong in the hall and choose “I want to receive a belt.” Meet the level requirement, have enough points, and leave a free EQUIP inventory slot. For each upgrade, unequip the previous belt and keep it in your EQUIP inventory.

Belt requirements and base attribute bonuses

Black75+17,000Red Belt+5 each

Each upgrade spends points and replaces the old belt. The complete White-to-Black chain costs 32,200 training points in total. The 17,000 shown for Black is the cost of that final exchange, not the cost of the whole chain.

These are WapleStory’s standard belt exchange costs. Check So Gong’s requirements before redeeming.
